I just finished watching the new to DVD "Futurama" movie. One of the extras was a "math class" by Dr. Sarah J. Greenwald examining the many math jokes written into episodes of "Futurama". I was giddy to also find out there was a fun little website dedicated to the Futurama Math. I had spotted many jokes in previous episodes but some of them were over my head until they were explained in the DVD extra. Christina couldn't understand why I was so interested in the DVD extra but she forgets I took Calculus in college just for fun.

"Lost" junkies don't think I forgot about you. ABC is posting new mini-episodes in preperation of the upcoming fourth season. Posted below is a semi-humerous recap of the doomed flight of Oceanic flight 815. If you haven't ever watched the show skip the video and go straight to the source. I've been absent for the past few days because my parents left today. They have been here since Thursday. If there was one thing my mom taught me it was to "never blog when you have company." I will post pictures of their visit later in the week. For now I have some awesome links.

Today I found this awesome Firefox add-on called FoxyTunes. It allow you to control your music through your browser. It's much better than toggling back and forth between the internet and iTunes. I can even show what song is playing as I blog (see below.)

More Simpsons

Too cheap to buy all The Simpsons DVDs? Try this website. Every Simpsons episode on demand. Best. Website. Ever. (Via Pop Candy.)

Of course the first episode I watched was Homer becoming Bart's pop warner coach. Some highlights: Martin only wearing one shoe yet kicking with the foot that has the shoe on it, Homer heckling Flanders, and Homer cutting everyone.

I also forgot to pass along more NFL picks for Week 2 (by Moe) and Week 3 (by Krusty).

You're Cut

Some people are more excited about football than I am. I have nothing against football, I just think it is highly overrated. I usually stay up to date on football via the Sports Guy's weekly picks and Sportscenter. But now I have a new source of information, Homer Simpson.

That is right, Homer has picked his winners and losers for Week 1. Of course, any mention of Homer and football and I think of the classic episode where Homer coaches Bart's pee wee team. Click here to see the hilarious credits to the episode.

Weight Watchers

A new study has linked what you weigh by what you watch. According to the study I am obese because I watch My Name is Earl, Prison Break, and have caught a few episodes of House. But I am also skinny from watching Homer, Peter, and Cartman. For some delicious irony click on the previous three links. Mmmmmm, irony.

Of course, everyone of all shapes and sizes watches Lost. Proof of this can be seen by these two college kids who snuck their way unto the set and posted their pictures on Flickr.
